Abstract

The advantages of the device are:

1. It keeps the patient up in bed.

2. It allows the patient freedom of movement from the hips up.

3. It gives the patient a maximum amount of comfort.

4. It does not bruise the tissues.

5. It allows the natural functions of the body to be carried on.

6. It is inexpensive, costing not over $1.50.
