A case is reported in which KÖhler's disease was present. Following an acute upper respiratory infection, osteitis of the tarsal scaphoid was found. which at operation later was proved due to bacillus tuberculosis. Whether this helps to confirm Greenwood's contention that bacillus tuberculosis is the cause of Köhler's disease or whether this case was merely tuberculosis occuring in a congenitally anomalous tarsal scaphoid, one cannot decide without further experience.
