Abstract

1. This complicated fracture is not uncommon.

2. If recognized and properly treated early, there should be little or no residual disability or deformity.

3. Careful roentgen-ray study is necessary, with particular care to include the elbow joints, in all ulnar shaft fractures.

4. Neglected cases result in great loss of function and much deformity.
