The author has divided sacrarthrogenetic scoliosis into sixteen types and has presented a simple method by which the characteristic patterns may be recognized and recorded. Seven diagnostic rules, the accuracy of which exceeds 90.0 per cent. in the series studied, have been formulated for the interpretation of these patterns. The sixteen types of sacrarthrogenetic scoliosis have been illustrated in the form of a table, so that the etiological significance of each pattern may be determined at a glance.
