Abstract

1. From 1928 to 1935, inclusive, 301 patients were operated on for scoliosis at the New York Orthopaedic Dispensary and Hospital. Of these, 265 had had previous correction of the deformity in the wedging jacket.

2. The results of this treatment were excellent or good in 79.7 per cent., fair in 15.6 per cent., and poor in 4.7 per cent.
