Abstract

This case of symmetrical pseudofractures involving both hips illustrates the fact that pseudofractures are associated with osteomalacia in its advanced stages and that these pseudofractures are sufficiently similar to those described by Milkman to suggest that they have the same basic etiology. It is to be noted that Milkman's case report describes an associated pancreatic disease, diabetes.
