Abstract

It may be concluded that by this method of spectrochemical analysis, rabbit striated muscle has a trace metal content not unlike that found by other workers in human and beef striated muscle.

Cobalt was found in only 5 per cent of ninety-nine samples; zirconium and tungsten were not found. Molybdenum was found in half the samples, nickel in four-fifths, and titanium in four-fifths. Chromium and iron were detected in all.
