Abstract

1. Dislocation of the sacro-iliac joint and stress fractures of both rami of the opposite pubis are reported as unusual complications of a bone-grafting procedure.

2. This case report demonstrates that the superior portion of the sacroiliac articulation, with its architectural and ligamentous support, plays a prominent part in maintaining the integrity of the pelvis.
