Abstract

Three cases of kyphosis, instability, and deformity of the cervical spine following multiple laminectomies in children are reported. The factors causing these deformities are discussed and the indications and techniques of stabilization by anterior cervical fusion are described. A procedure to prevent instability after laminectomy is cited.
