Abstract

1. An unusual dislocation of the medial cuneiform bone of the foot is reported.

2. The diagnostic importance of obtaining a detailed history of the mechanism of injury is stressed, because the roentgenographic appearance of the dislocation can be confusing. Treatment was open reduction and arthrodesis.
