Abstract

A case has been presented in which there was a thirteen-year follow-up after prosthetic arthroplasty of the lower portion of the elbow joint. Although the patient's range of motion was less than desirable, he was satisfied with the functional result of the reconstructive procedures. Humeral erosion can be avoided by enlarging the semiluar notch and by blunting the coronoid process.
