Abstract

Ten patients after mold arthroplasty had potentially disastrous wound infections. A method of salvage, which has been strikingly effective, is described. We believe that prompt recognitions and aggressive action, as outlined, are essential in this situation. In the ten patients in this series, the results of arthroplasty were not greatly altered by this unsfortunate complication.
