Abstract

The historical background, surgical technique, and indications for the Tikhor-Linberg shoulder girdle resection are presented. A case of osteosarcoma of the scapula is reported to illustrate the application of the Tikhor-Linberg procedure and the postoperative functional capacity of the upper extremity.
