Abstract

The literature on forty-seven cases of Silver's syndrome—congenital somatic asymmetry, low birth weight, and short stature—is reviewed with emphasis on the quantitative aspects of leg-length discrepancy which may be as much as six centimeters. Four new cases are described, and the variety of associated skeletal anomalies (scoliosis, anomalies of fingers, and so forth) are listed.
