This study concerns a method of pedicle-flap grafting used to treat four patients with intolerably painful hands following nerve injuries. Scar tissue entrapping injured nerves was removed. Some nerves were then imbedded in muscle or bone. In common to all, however, thick abdominal pedicle flap grafts were placed on hands over injured nerves. This grafting procedure detailed in the four case presentations is offered as an approach to one of the commonest and most debilitating hand lesions.
