Abstract

An error occurred in "Late Dislocations in Patients with Charnley Total Hip Arthroplasty" by M. B. Coventry (July 1985, Volume 67-A). On page 832, left-hand column, third paragraph, the second sentence should read: "In the first report¹ from the Mayo Clinic in which the Charnley prosthesis was studied, dislocations occurred in 3 per cent of the hips in the first two postoperative years."
