Abstract

In "Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis. A Prospective Study of Fixation with a Single Screw" (74-A: 810-819, July 1992), by Aronson and Carlson, in the first full paragraph in the left column on page 811, the fourth and fifth sentences should read: "Twelve degrees was selected because it was the average head-shaft angle (range, 1 to 29 degrees), as measured on the frog-leg lateral radiographs of sixty-five asymptomatic adolescents. Southwick31 also reported that, on the frog-leg lateral radiograph. there is apparent radiographic retroversion of the femoral head and neck with respect to the shaft. and the normal head-shaft angle ranges from 0 to 25 degrees."
