Last year, this review focused on novel advances in the biology and prognosis of sarcomas. This year, the focus will be on recent studies of functional outcomes and quality-of-life measures after limb salvage, primarily in the lower extremity. In addition, it will highlight some recent findings regarding soft-tissue sarcomas.
