Initiating Online Access

Institution administrators will create a username and password to establish their account, however they will not be able to manage their institution´s activation and IP addresses directly via the website. All IP address information must be communicated to JBJS at the time the subscription is ordered or via e-mail soon after. Our staff will input the IP addresses and be available to make any changes going forward.

Renewing an Institution/Library Subscription:

Inquiries regarding institutional subscription orders may be directed to our Subscription Department or to a subscription agent.

Usage/Counter reports from September 2011 onwards can be found at http://sitemaster.jbjs.org.

COUNTER reports for June-August are not available for JBJS. Silverchair Information Systems, the online hosting provider for JBJS since June 2011, encountered unanticipated problems in properly assigning some usage data to individual institutions, leading to unassigned usage rendering accurate COUNTER reporting impossible during the immediate post-launch period. This is solely Silverchair's responsibility, and we apologize for the problems this is causing JBJS and its customers. The issue has been resolved and accurate COUNTER reports will be available from September 2011 onward.

Sincerely,
Jake Zarnegar
President
Silverchair Information Systems
